MS Dhoni joins Dream11 as brand ambassador

Leading fantasy sports operator Dream11 has roped in Indian cricket team wicket-keeper and former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni as its brand ambassador.

Dhoni, who has led India to two world cup victories is a revered figure in the sports arena and is considered a cricketing legend by many. In his latest role as Dream11’s brand ambassador, Dhoni will be undertaking multi-channel marketing campaigns and brand engagement activities.

Commenting on Dhoni’s association with Dream11, CEO Harsh Jain said, “Dhoni’s immense popularity amongst sports fans, coupled with his leadership qualities and sharp cricketing acumen, makes him the perfect match for our brand. He embodies all the characteristics that our users need while picking their Dream11 team. We believe this association will help us exponentially grow our current user base of 2 crore Indian sports fans.”

Confirming his association with Dream11, Dhoni in a press release said, “I am delighted to associate with Dream11 – because it gives millions of sports fans an opportunity to be the decision maker, create their own team and experience the game first-hand.
